Hi everyone. My name is Xtina, and let me tell you a little about myself.
I am a young, cisgendered queer girl. Actually, before I met Tom, I was 100% lesbian. I have normal gay-girl hobbies like drawing, playing video games, and reading comics. (Not to say any of those hobbies are inherently gay, however.) I have taught art at the best art studio for kids in my state for the past two years.
I met the boy at a queer event in late May, but I met him as ‘Betsy’. We were quickly infatuated with each other, and went on our first date barely into June. Barely a month after we met, we were official on facebook. There were tiny things about what “she” said made me question “her” gender identity. A day after my birthday we said the L word (no, not ‘lesbians’), and the day after that I found out my girl was a boy.
His coming out process has gone very well, so far. My parents love him, the family he’s told still love him, and all of his friends are supportive, as well. The issue comes down to money. Due to being a low-income young adult and recently losing both his job and home, he is living in my parents’ house with me, which has fairly effectively put getting blood tests and testosterone put on hold. This blog is to hopefully get that back on track.
I will be taking drawing commissions for those that are interested, taking donations, and potentially be making t-shirts or other goods. We will be setting up logistics for all of this in the next few days. In the mean time, I will be posting pictures of the two of us, and example drawings and prices. Thank you for looking at our blog, and even more thanks to those who decide to help out in any way. ♥
