Thomas and I are no longer together because he needs quite a while for some self-care. As such, I will not be taking commissions for a while. I need some time to do personal art. I assume this is someone who knew me in high school? Well, either way, I’ll present this as a way for you (and others) to hopefully learn.

Yes, when I was in high school, I did identify as lesbian. However, for most people, sexuality is fluid, and at different points in their life can be more rigid or loose in how they choose to identify. Currently, I identify as queer. That can mean something different for everyone who chooses to identify this way. For myself, what it means is that I mostly like female-identified people, meaning cisgendered and transgendered women, but I am also open to other people who fit under the queer umbrella (transgendered men, genderqueer people, etc). It is unlikely I would enter into a relationship with a cisgendered man, but it is a possibility. Even though I am in a “straight” relationship currently, both Thomas and I fall under the queer umbrella, and consider our relationship to be a queer one. Hopefully this answers some questions for you?

How are all of you doing lately? Sorry for the inactivity! Reason for it: I finally got a job!! I now work at a local used video game store, and it’s awesome. Looking forward to receiving my first paycheck. Thomas has been very sick lately, unfortunately, but before he got the plague he was able to get the first few check ups he needed before he has his consultation to get T! A very exciting time.

A watercolor I did for my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day, from our second date together. We went to a local festival that was happening that weekend, and he was so shy. (I had to actually pull him by his tie to get him to kiss me….) Anyways, actually finished this about a week ago, but I had to keep it a secret until now. Happy V-Day, everyone ♥

Anyways, Thomas scheduled today his first lab tests/physical/consultation for getting hormone therapy! Exciting things are about to start happening! Thank you to everyone who has ever donated or bought a commission - we’re finally going to be using most of the money we’ve earned so far : )

Thomas has taken to writing on my arms in sharpie recently. This one was cute, so I thought I should share.

Sorry everyone that there hasn’t been an update in a while! Thomas and I have been fairly busy since we got home. Thomas has been preparing for interviews and sending out resumes, and I recently was offered a conditional offer of employment from the TSA, in addition to our busy social lives. We are actually heading to Seattle for a few days soon, for one of our good friend’s birthday.

Thomas and I earlier today at the Mt. Shasta Caverns! Today is our 6 month anniversary, and I loved spending it with him in such a beautiful place. We are still currently on our way to SoCal, but I have figured out this mobile posting with tumblr, so I will try to post occasionally. After Thomas and I get back home after the holidays, he is planning on using the over $300 we’ve saved up in the Man Jar to start him on hormones! A trans guy he knows pointed him in the direction of a cheap place to get hormones/blood tests, so we can afford it now (even after spending a little bit of the funds on a new binder). <3

Photo update! Two photos since this could potentially be our last update until the new year… :( Thomas and I are going down to southern California together tomorrow to visit with my family for the holidays. Photo update! Thomas and I at Alpenrose Dairy Farm. Him, his family and I all went there for some Christmas festivities a few days ago. Thomas is not so hot on Christmas, thus the smirk. (Christmas is my favorite holiday, and he puts up with a lot of my antics. He’s such a good man.)

Also, Thomas is working on his own tumblr! When he finally gets it set up how he likes it, I’ll post a link for anyone interested!

Third commission finished! This is for Jenna, a friend/co-worker of my cousin Karen. Her family’s dog recently died, and so this is in memoriam.

Hey all! One of Thomas’ friends is being very generous: between December 16 and 18, her Etsy shop (HERE), which sells adorable feather earrings, is donating 10% of all profits to our fund! Please check her out, since her stuff is amazing, and she’s so sweet for supporting us.

In general news, we have raised $205 so far! Wow, thank you everyone for the AMAZING support! Both Thomas and I appreciate it greatly. The money will likely be going towards his name change soon. Thomas’ friend Badger’s commission! She commissioned a drawing of her boyfriend, dressed up as Mal from Firefly, but without a shirt.. ha. My commissions are certainly entertaining, to say the least. Color pencil and watercolor.
