Thomas and I are no longer together because he needs quite a while for some self-care. As such, I will not be taking commissions for a while. I need some time to do personal art. I may start a personal tumblr in the future (which I will post here, if people are interested), but until then you can find Thomas’ tumblr here or my deviantArt here.

Why are you the best damned significant other in the world?

Because I have a wonderful partner who loves and supports me unconditionally. I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without that. <3

(fyi guys this is Thomas’ tumblr. Pounce in 3.. 2.. 1..)

I thought you were gay.

I assume this is someone who knew me in high school? Well, either way, I’ll present this as a way for you (and others) to hopefully learn.

Yes, when I was in high school, I did identify as lesbian. However, for most people, sexuality is fluid, and at different points in their life can be more rigid or loose in how they choose to identify. Currently, I identify as queer. That can mean something different for everyone who chooses to identify this way. For myself, what it means is that I mostly like female-identified people, meaning cisgendered and transgendered women, but I am also open to other people who fit under the queer umbrella (transgendered men, genderqueer people, etc). It is unlikely I would enter into a relationship with a cisgendered man, but it is a possibility. Even though I am in a “straight” relationship currently, both Thomas and I fall under the queer umbrella, and consider our relationship to be a queer one. Hopefully this answers some questions for you?

Another one of Thomas’ and I’s friends is doing fundraising for us! For anybody who lives in the Portland, Oregon area, The CoG Factory is having open studio tonight (12/14), tomorrow night (12/15), and every night open next week (12/19-12/23), and an amazing 50% of profits are going towards T for Thomas! I hope all you creative Portlanders show up!

Top Wing Shop

Hey all! One of Thomas’ friends is being very generous: between December 16 and 18, her Etsy shop (HERE), which sells adorable feather earrings, is donating 10% of all profits to our fund! Please check her out, since her stuff is amazing, and she’s so sweet for supporting us.

In general news, we have raised $205 so far! Wow, thank you everyone for the AMAZING support! Both Thomas and I appreciate it greatly. The money will likely be going towards his name change soon. He cannot get his gender marker changed on his ID yet (because of Oregon laws), but he can at least change his name now. Thank you for every donation, commission, follow, like, and reblog. You guys rule. ♥

My friend is a doll. → the-moth-princess.tumblr.com

the-moth-princess:

One of my closest friends Xtina is trying to raise money for her trans boyfriend for top-surgery and testosterone. Any donations would help so much and would be really appreciated, and Xtina also makes really pretty art commissions in exchange for donations!

I adore Thomas and I know he’s…

One of my closest friends is also taking commissions to help us raise money. She is the sweetest thing, and her art is always so lovely and delicate. You should all check her out. ♥

(my friends make me cry with how sweet they are some times, no big deal.)

Commissions!

A few people have been asking for examples of my artwork for those who want to commission me. So, I picked out a few pieces to show the kind of work I can do, and prices for each of them. Prices are as follows (in order):

Ink: $15

Ink with screentones: $20

Ink with colored pencil: $25

Ink with digital color: $25

Watercolor: $30

Pixel Art: prices will vary, depending on size.

Comic page: add $5 to base price.

These are all base prices, based on how much time, effort, and materials I put into each of them. If you commission more than one piece, I would be happy to give you a deal! Tips are also accepted and greatly appreciated, if you enjoy your end result!

How to request a commission? Either shoot me an ask in our ask box or send me an email at testosteroneforthomas@gmail.com

How to pay for a commission? What happens after I finish your commission is I will send you a digital copy of your finished drawing with a huge, ugly watermark on it. When I confirm correct payment from you (via our donate button, or in person), I will send you the piece without the watermark, in it’s original form. This is so you, the buyer, has confirmation that your piece is completed, and protects me from anyone who may be less than trustworthy.

What if I want to have the original copy of the commission? If I know you in person, this is no problem at all. Arrange a time to meet up with me, and I would be more than happy to. However, if I have to mail it to you, $5 will be added to your base price. I am not responsible if it gets lost or damaged in the mail. Pieces that I cannot mail include: commissions with tones, digital color, or pixel art. If you want the original copy, please arrange this with me ahead of time.

Thanks again to EVERYONE who follows, reblogs, donates, or commissions. All of your love and support is astounding. ♥

Donate!

We now have a donate button! At the top of our blog is where you can find it. If anyone feels compelled to donate to our cause, this is how you can pay, with credit, debit, or your own paypal account. All money that is donated will go directly toward Thomas getting blood tests, hormones, or top surgery. Thank you EVERYONE for taking the time just to read our blog. Even if you cannot help financially, a reblog of our first post would help tremendously.

I will be posting art examples and pricing soon, for those interested in commissions!

T is for Thomas

Hi everyone. My name is Xtina, and let me tell you a little about myself.

I am a young, cisgendered queer girl. Actually, before I met Tom, I was 100% lesbian. I have normal gay-girl hobbies like drawing, playing video games, and reading comics. (Not to say any of those hobbies are inherently gay, however.) I have taught art at the best art studio for kids in my state for the past two years.

I met the boy at a queer event in late May, but I met him as ‘Betsy’. We were quickly infatuated with each other, and went on our first date barely into June. Barely a month after we met, we were official on facebook. There were tiny things about what “she” said made me question “her” gender identity. A day after my birthday we said the L word (no, not ‘lesbians’), and the day after that I found out my girl was a boy.

His coming out process has gone very well, so far. My parents love him, the family he’s told still love him, and all of his friends are supportive, as well. The issue comes down to money. Due to being a low-income young adult and recently losing both his job and home, he is living in my parents’ house with me, which has fairly effectively put getting blood tests and testosterone put on hold. This blog is to hopefully get that back on track.

I will be taking drawing commissions for those that are interested, taking donations, and potentially be making t-shirts or other goods. We will be setting up logistics for all of this in the next few days. In the mean time, I will be posting pictures of the two of us, and example drawings and prices. Thank you for looking at our blog, and even more thanks to those who decide to help out in any way. ♥
